Tune in for more info about defining your ad campaign and objectives!

Hey all you beautiful people and welcome to ASKyH! My name is Adi and I will be your hostess for the next two minutes.

Today we’re going to be talking about the always exciting, never boring Facebook advertising! Now let’s get to it.

With over two billion users Facebook has a large engaged user base that spends a ridiculous amount of time there every single day of every month. Within this massive pool of people are your future customers. Many of them visit Facebook every day and you need to connect with them.

Facebook ads will help you reach the target audience. It is much more targeted than you might realize. You can reach people based on location, age, gender, interests and more, with regular updates on how well your ads are performing.

If you want to understand what ad will perform better, Facebook’s CMS offers you a variety of tools that will help you accomplish this. Power Editor recently allows advertisers to split test ads to different custom audiences, locations and age segments all within one campaign.

Another tool advertisers can use is Facebook Insights. Here you can analyze a goldmine of data about your page, your audience and your customers. With this kind of data, you’re able to see the performance of your organic posts versus your paid posts.

Now, how are we gonna create an amazing, mind-blowing campaign? First things first – let’s choose our objectives. Do you want your users to purchase at your eCommerce store or do you want them to install your app? Do you want to drive more traffic to your website or do you want to register a lead form? Do you want to know how many dolphins are in the ocean at this current moment? Well, I do too – but you may want to Google that.

In order to give life to your campaign, we’ve got to put a little meat on its bones. We can do that by adding the budget, choosing the target audience, the bidding, the objective goal and much much more.

Creating the ad is one of the more exciting parts of the campaign, from the headline text down to the image or video display. Dress it up by making your ads colorful, adding the most important message, and make sure it stands out from the rest of the newsfeed.

That’s basically Facebook advertising in a nutshell. If you want to learn more, check out our blog posts about Facebook ad placements and using Facebook automated rules, or feel free to send us questions.
